Krystal Masteller is a member of the DanceLova Dance Academy faculty.
A modern dancer at heart, Krystal brings a fresh dance perspective to the students of DanceLova. Her uplifting and encouraging spirit ensures positive growth and development of the students she teaches.
Krystal began her dance career at local competition studios in Norco and Chino Hills. During this time, she won awards at various competitions and nationals. When she graduated, she went on to teach at various studios and high schools around the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area.
She also studied dance at Mt. San Antonio College where she discovered her love for modern. This would be the catalyst for her attending multiple summer and winter intensives. She studied and performed at the American Dance Festival in North Carolina, Body Language Experience in Los Angeles, Ate 9 in LA, LA Contemporary Dance Company, Fact/SF in San Fransisco, and One Body One Career in Montreal.
Throughout Krystal’s career, she has performed and choreographed for various up and coming artist’s music videos, performed with hip hop crews, in concept videos, and on stage for a variety of modern dance choreographers. She has worked alongside Liana Blackburn, Rebecca Lemme, Lee Martino, and Shay Kuebler.
Currently, Krystal is with Go 2 Talent Agency and is studying at California State Long Beach to attain her Bachelor’s in Dance Science with a Business minor. Outside of dance, Krystal works in the specialty coffee industry as an educator. Krystal is striving to get certified in Counter Technique, become a personal dance rehabilitation trainer, and share her passion/love for dance with kids and adults around the world.
At Dancelova Dance Academy, Ms. Krystal teaches recreational jazz and contemporary classes and is one of DanceLova’s competition team coaches.
