Character Dance

About This DanceLōva Class

Character Dance lessons are outside of our regular class groupings. Nonetheless, this class provides great benefits for any learner who is serious about ballet at any grade. Students in this class further explore and learn different traditional dances from European regions, providing valuable understanding of various cultures and lifestyles that have influenced dance movements and gestures.

Ballet learners are taught different character variations from classical ballet productions including Spanish variations from Coppelia, and Russian variations from The Nutcracker. This class is held every week.
