Contemporary Lyrical III
About This DanceLÅva Class
In Contemporary & Lyrical III, dance students will learn to focus on executing intentional body movement versus solely on the meaning of song lyrics for combos. Every lesson will require learners to follow different musical or song genres, speed, sounds, word pitches, instruments and even silence.
In grade III, learners will be challenged with more complex counts through movement and understand more dynamic beats beyond an 8-count. Improvisation skills will be further enhanced by the introduction of dance partners, and learning how to leverage natural momentum and transfer energy without verbal communication nor pre-set choreography. This class is held every week.

Top: Sports bra
Bottom: Dance shorts, or leggings
Shoes: Nude half sole shoes
Instructor's Notes:
All hair must be pulled back and away from face. DanceLova also recommends the half sole shoes that are made of canvas material.
