On Sep. 1, 2020, we transitioned to our all-new, DanceLova Hybrid-Freedom dance classes, offering our normal monthly or quarterly pricing plans.

We are happy to announce to you that on Sep. 14, we officially flipped our door sign to OPEN.

Auto-Pay

We want our customers to know that because the temporary closure will now be heading into the new month of April, we have proactively already disabled Auto-Pay on ALL student accounts. No quarterly nor monthly tuition payments will be charged to any of our customers beginning April until we reopen and customers return.

In addition, all missed classes during this time and up to March 31 will be prorated and credited toward your future tuition.

We, the entire DanceLova staff and teachers all look forward to that delightful moment when we will be able again to continue serving you — the talented and hard-working dancers, and amazing and supportive dance parents — in person, just as we have for the past 8 years.

DanceLova Distance Learning

As a temporary alternative, DanceLova Distance Learning is being designed to allow our dancers at home to continue their regular class schedule that they’re so accustomed to at DanceLova. This will be made available to our dancers at home in the coming week.

Dance class instructional videos published

In the meantime, we have published a few dance class instructional videos on our Instagram @dancelovairvine. These were put together recently at our studio so our dancers at home can follow along to keep practicing until DanceLova Distance Learning goes live.

In light of the most recent updates and school closure decisions throughout Southern California, we will be temporarily closing the academy from March 14 through March 27.

All missed classes during this time will be prorated and credited toward your future tuition.

We have rescheduled all the dates that lead up to the June recital, starting with the postponement of the Costume Measurement Week (originally was this week), now is April 24-30.

Regular Scheduled Classes

Regular scheduled classes will continue as usual, following the precautionary steps that have been implemented since January 27, unless/until otherwise announced. Of course, it goes without saying, that if you feel sick and/or have a fever, stay home for as long as you need. Your make-up classes will always be there when you return, don’t worry.

The January 27 initiative for promoting social discipline and responsibility in regards to health has been uninterrupted to this day, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind you to continue this in full force as it has created a “Health comes first” facility for all to enjoy to this day.

Implemented the “Health comes first” initiative to take immediate proactive steps to promote health and safety of the DanceLova Dance Academy community of dancers, families, and workers.
 

The 7 Proactive Steps

1. Staff and teachers are diligently wiping ballet barres, door knobs, surfaces, chairs, phones, and even machine buttons in between dance classes with disinfectant wipes.
   …
2. An additional “touchless” hand sanitizer dispenser station has been added to the lobby area in addition to the original “touchless” dispenser that has always been located on the wall between Studio A and B rooms.
   …
3. Digital posters have been turned on and displayed on multiple TV screens within our premises to remind everyone to keep following the guidelines that maintain our community’s health and safety at the highest levels.
   …
4. Verbal reminders to students in class to wash hands and/or use the provided hand sanitizer dispensers.
   …
5. Temporarily paused the supply of disposable water cups to public at the water machine station.
   …
6. Employing a “touchless” infrared temperature reading gun on a case-by-case basis to determine if any student should go home.
   …
7. Continue to employ an overnight cleaning service that further sanitizes the floors, restrooms, windows, and surfaces.
