Nicole Hoeschen joined the DanceLova Dance Academy administration team in February 2017. The figure skater-turned-dancer not only is a beautiful performer of the art of movement, but also a top performer in the business environment. She brings to the team a great background in customer service in fitness, wellness, banking, and retail industries. Nicole has a knack for building rapport with customers, understanding customers’ needs, and also thrives in a fast-paced environment — all the ingredients to making happy dancers, happy dance parents, and administering studio operations.
Nicole Hoeschen was born and raised in O’ahu, Hawai’i and spent 10 years doing the opposite of what most would expect from an island girl: competing and performing as a figure skater. At the age of 12, Nicole moved to Orange County, California and since then has set down roots in the sunny locale. She attended the Orange County High School of the Arts with a focus in Film & Television, but found herself always going back to her love of movement. Starting at an older age than most, Nicole began dancing at the age of 14 at OCHSA as an elective class – which soon became her favorite part of the day. In 2010, she attended Orange Coast College as a dance major, and has since continued her education at Santa Ana College after taking a short hiatus from training.
Nicole plans to continue her education as a dancer, and a teacher – with the goal of teaching amazing students like the ones at DanceLova Dance Academy some day! When not in the studio, or in class, Nicole spends her time reading or hanging out with her friends and family (which include her Husky named Jack).
